Georgia caught my attention today.
“Mommy, I want my haircut again.”
“Well let’s wait a little while and see how nice it will grow long” I tell her. (I miss her long beautiful brunette locks. ) 😦
“Mommy, I am just gonna cut it myself.”
“oh uh nuh! That’s not happening.” said I. “When the right time comes we will have somebody fun cut your hair for you. By the way, where are all your craft scissors?”
Now my question is what is the best lock box to hide all the household scissors?!
I am excited to watch some swimming during the London Olympics. My daughter is just realizing how much easier it is to swim with her face in the water. I believe this will help her see how great she can become with lots of practice. She uses any chance she can get to show off her new skills. Who knows….she may even be in the 2020 Olympics someday! 😀
Georgia talks in her sleep sometimes and she is so sweet! Last night she slept on my bed and she said in her sleep ” you can be a beautiful princess like my mommy.”
I wonder who she was talking too in her sleep. She is so sweet. She boosts my ego. hehe!
Georgia asked for a pet fish so she could name it “Carlos”. She’s so random. lol
Georgia: :”my tummy is all growly! …..My tummy is ready to go to church!”
me: “oh really?!”
“Georgia:”Yeah..it’s got things to do in church.”
I am gonna send her into the kid church today.
Georgia: “Mommy, do you keep secrets?”
Me: “Yes, sometimes”
Georgia:” I keep secrets too. I keep harley’s. I keep Harley hat’s. I keep ballerina clothes. I keep new ballerina clothes.”
me:” You keep NEW ballerina clothes? where do you keep them?”
Georgia “at the store.”
Georgia just told me to “watch and learn.”
She was explaining how to eat a spoonful of cheerio’s.
I think I got it now. lol
Georgia has a different swim teacher this month and four other kids are in her class. While her teacher was busy with another kid, Georgia just went for it and started swimming! I am a proud mommy! I almost started to cry from happiness. She kept on swimming the entire lesson. She wouldn’t stop even when her teacher had to keep telling her to go over by the wall with the other kids. I was going to go tell her to listen and follow his directions but she looked so excited about what she accomplished I couldn’t. She looked like she was drowning when she swam, but she was doing it and was loving every minute of it. I am proud of her for taking a chance even though she was worried to put her face in the water. Next task……….bike riding. 🙂
Georgia has a crush on her swim teacher. On her second day of class she asked me if she could draw him a picture and give it to him. Then before we left the car she said “Wait! I gotta put on my lips first!” And on went the sparkly lipgloss that grandma gave her. Oh boy! It’s gonna be hard when she get’s to be a teenager. How will I not worry so much?!
For now it is cute to watch her grinning so big and flirting with him. And lucky for her the only other kid had dropped out and she had teacher all to herself. hehe!
